In Vitro and Genetic Toxicology

CiToxLAB France’s In vitro and genetic toxicology department offers complete services in order to fulfil regulatory requirements or obtain screening data. Studies are designed according to international guidelines, including OECD, EC, OPPTS, ICH or Japanese guidelines.

Genetic toxicology tests

Screening tests

Mini-Ames test (2 to 5 strain combinations with and/or without S9 mix)

In vitro mini Micronucleus test

BlueScreen™

Regulatory tests

Ames test – bacterial mutagenesis (OECD 471)

Mouse lymphoma Assay (MLA) – in vitro mammalian mutagenesis (OECD 476)

Chromosome aberration test (OECD 473)

In Vitro Micronucleus test (OECD 487)

In Vivo Micronucleus test on mice or rats (OECD 474) with:

- cytogenetic microscope examination of bone marrow cells

- or flow cytometry analysis on erythrocytes.

The in vivo micronucleus test can be included in toxicity studies (4-week toxicity studies)
