Based in Evreux (27) with frequent national and international trips
Fixed salary +  variable part of the salary (% of fixed salary)

 

Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Identifies and develops new client opportunity, in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries
  • Actively prospects and leverages potential new business opportunities.
  • Network extensively with prospective customers, so as to understand their needs and to ensure that CIT is invited to tender for any future outsourced pre clinical based projects.
  • Cultivates strong, long term, strategic relationships with key decisions makers within Customers as well as a deep and thorough knowledge of those customers.
  • Consults, develops and coordinates proposal preparation, contracts, amendments and renegotiates as necessary to ensure customers’ satisfaction and CIT’s profitability.
  • Ensures rapid and accurate response to enquiries and follow up of proposals and contracts.
  • Presents CIT in a positive light at all times, being highly professional, ethical and supportive to customers ‘needs.
  • Represents CIT at relevant trade shows.
  • Reports to management, as required, all ongoing sales activity

 

Knowledge skills and abilities:
  • Sales ability, with exemplary, verbal and written communication skills (including presentation) and superior customer service skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic working relationship, with a tenacious approach (confident and persuasive manners) but a positive attitude and good adaptability to change
  • High degree of self-motivation with effective organizational and time management skills
  • Strong motivation for continuous learning and active in seeking new areas for learning
  • Collaborative and team building skills

 

Qualifications:
  • Master of science or double education profile: master of science with a business degree
  • A first experience within a scientific environment (clinical, pre clinical or biotechnological industries…) and a strong interest in life sciences will be highly appreciated.
  • Fluency in English and French are mandatory
  • 3 years experience in pharmaceutical, chemical industries or seeking
