Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new clients, in the pre clinical industry through to signed contracts.
  • Actively prospects and leverage potential new business opportunities.
  • Network extensively with prospective customers, so as to understand their needs and to ensure that CIT is invited to tender for any future outsourced pre clinical based projects.
  • Cultivate strong, long term, strategic relationships with key decisions makers within Customers and a deep and thorough knowledge of those customers.
  • Consult, develop and coordinate proposal preparation, contracts, amendments and renegociate as necessary to ensure customers’ satisfaction and CIT’s profitability.
  • Ensure rapid and accurate response to enquiries and follow up of proposals and contracts.
  • Present CIT in a positive light at all times, being highly professional, ethical and supportive to customers ‘needs.
  • Represent CIT at relevant trade shows.
  • Report to management, as required, all ongoing sales activity

 

Knowledge skills and abilities:

  • You have experience of at least 8 years in the commercial field
  • Sales ability, with exemplary, verbal and written communication skills (including presentation) and superior customer service skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic working relationship, with a tenacious approach (confident and persuasive manners) but a positive attitude and good adaptability to change
  • High degree of self-motivation with effective organizational and time management skills
  • Strong motivation for continuous learning and active in seeking new areas for learning
  • Collaborative and team building skills
  • English and French demands, Italian appreciated

 

Qualifications:

  • Master of Business or double education profile: Master of Science with a business degree
  • A first experience within a scientific environment (pre clinical or biotechnological industries) and a strong interest in life sciences will be highly appreciated.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • 3 years experience in pharmaceutical, chemical industries or seeking
