Essential duties and responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities as Study Director:
Establish study protocols and write study reports.
Supervise the technical, scientific and regulatory conduct of studies, including supervision of animal welfare, GLP and health & safety rules.
Interpretation, evaluation and documentation of data.
Close and regular client contact: consulting, setting-up and following of studies, report on results.
For three issues:
Apply rigorously good laboratory practice, animal welfare and health &safety rules
Represent CIT in a professional manner at all time (client visits, national and international congresses)
Demonstrate commitment to continuing education and knowledge of CIT services as well as regulatory requirements in general
Knowledge skills and abilities:
High degree of professionalism, scientific rigour and understanding with consistent attention to details and results
Ability to build and maintain strategic working relationship, with a tenacious approach (confident and persuasive manners) but a positive attitude and good adaptability to change (flexibility)
Verbal and written communication skills: ability to interact with individuals from a wide variety of scientific background is essential (technicians, colleagues and members of other departments)
Presentation skills:
Use of spreadsheets, word processing and graphics for display of information, data and results
Publication of articles and poster in scientific papers under the supervision of the Senior Scientists
Superior customer service skills: excellent communication with clients (written, telephone, hosting visits...) is mandatory
Proactive in nature: ability to anticipate problems which can affect quality, timing, cost… (such as technical, scientific, regulatory, animal welfare, GLP and health & safety problems) and propose solutions
High degree of self-motivation with effective organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well independently and on a team
Ability to handle multiple assignment and meet deadlines
Strong motivation for continuous learning and active in seeking new areas for learning
Contribution to business development success
Qualifications:
Veterinary, Pharmacy PhD degree or master in science.
Previous experience of 5 years in toxicology is required.
